At PawPrintsRescue, every pawprint tells a story of love and second chances. We rescue, heal, and rehome animals in need — giving them hope and a fresh start.
With the help of our amazing volunteers, adopters, and donors, we turn compassion into action every single day. Together, we’re not just saving lives — we’re creating forever families and leaving pawprints of love that last a lifetime.
PawPrintsRescue Coalition (501c3) is an all-volunteer rescue organization dedicated to the safe rehoming of shelter animals. Founded in 1997, our volunteers have saved over 7,000 dogs and cats. Most shelters hold animals for only 72 hours before euthanasia. We began our journey by helping rural shelters publicize their at-risk dogs and cats, thereby reducing euthanasia due to lack of space. Then, as we networked with more shelters and acquired additional foster homes, we came to rely on social networking to give these animals more time. We expanded and built partnerships with boarding facilities, transport organizations, and rescues nationwide.

Walk for Paws – Charity Fun Run

What: 5K/10K fun run (with or without dogs). Participants get exclusive PawPrintsRescue T-shirts, and all funds go toward rescue operations and animal welfare programs.
Holiday “Home for the Holidays” Drive

Where: Online + Local Adoption Events
What: Encourage holiday-season adoptions and donations. Featuring heartwarming success stories, wish-list gift drives, and a virtual “Sponsor a Rescue” campaign.
Paws in the Park – Adoption Day
When: First Saturday of every month
Where: Local parks across Texas
What: Meet adoptable dogs and cats, enjoy live music, food trucks, and fun family activities. Every handshake and tail wag brings someone closer to their forever home!
